I am a postdoc on the project "CHAD A Cultural History of AIDS in Denmark" funded by the Indenpendent Research Fund Denmark. I collect and analyze an archive on political and activist responses to HIV/AIDS in Denmark, c. 1984-2000. 

I have previously been affiliated with the ERC project Decolonizing Madness at the University of Copenhagen, and studied minority and border questions at the Centre for Border Region Studies at the University of Southern Denmark. 

I am a historian of contemporary Europe. My research focuses in particular on sexual and national identities, as well as on social movements, everyday life and popular culture in twentieth-century Denmark and Germany.
