    Present research focus: English-inspired morphosyntactic constructions in Danish, including loan translations

    Fields of interest

    • Interlingual and intralingual subtitling (plus dubbing and other types of screen translation)
    • Text types and translation (the constraints of printed literature vs. film and TV)
    • Idiomatic constructions (English and Danish phraseology)
    • False Friends (faux amis) between English and other languages
    • Corpus linguistics and lexicography (authentic texts vs. intuition in language description)
    • Contrastive linguistics, focusing on English-language impact on other languages (Anglicisms)
