Jeg er lektor i historie og universitetshistoriker for Københavns Universitet.

Min forskning og undervisning knytter sig overordnet til dansk og europæisk historie i perioden 1500-1800 med særlig vægt på kulturhistorie, kirkehistorie og lærdomshistorie. Af særlige fokusområder, som jeg også kan tilbyde vejledning i for studerende, kan nævnes:

  • Skole-, uddannelses-, universitets- og videnskabshistorie, herunder særligt Københavns Universitets historie.
  • Reformationen.
  • Trolddomsprocesserne og de religiøse og magiske ideers historie efter reformationen.
  • Dødens kulturhistorie og opfattelser af det hinsidige.
  • Danmarks historie generelt 1500-1750.
  • Historieteori og historiografi.
