Australian Lives

Every year the Australian Studies Centres in London, Dublin and Copenhagen come together and share their work in a one-day conference which has been dubbed 'Centrelink'. This year the Centre for Australian Studies at the University of Copenhagen is honoured to host the event, which this year focuses on the topic of 'Australian Lives'. With papers from an impressive complement of seasoned biographers, this year's conference will focus on the challenges of reading, interpreting, and writing Australian lives from a range of perspectives. The conference will finish at 1pm to enable participants to attend the Engeromic Recognitions event from 2-7pm, which this year will focus on the author and political activist Flora Tristan.
