H-Soz-u-Kult was founded in 1996 and today remains one of Europe’s largest communication and information networks for historians. With over 22,000 subscribers to a daily E-Mail newsletter and about 250,000 monthly visitors to the website <http://hsozkult.geschichte.hu-berlin.de> (Spambots excluded), H-SOZ-KULT connect scholars in the humanities all over Europe and beyond. H-SOZ-KULT publish fifteen to twenty news items such as book reviews, conference reports, job offers, new journal editions, literature reviews etc. per day. Based in Germany, H-SOZ-KULT publish in German, English, French and occasionally in other European languages, and have subscribers from every European country.
